Haruhi returns! So does Kyoko! by Irving - 14 Feb 2008

Remember Moeka Haruhi? Formerly of Gatoukuunyan, Haruhi took a year long break from joshi puroresu in 2007 and has finally resurfaced, signing a contract today with WAVE. WAVE's President and Yumi Ohka were on hand to announce Haruhi's joining today at the 1st Ring. Haruhi stated that although she took a year off, she wanted to show progression from the last time she was in the ring, and would prove herself as a member of WAVE. Ohka stated that WAVE might form an idol army in order to advance upon the media and entertainment field more, but that nothing was set in stone.

Kyoko Inoue, Sakura Emi, Aya Yuki, and Nagisa Nozaki were on hand at the Ichitani Icebox to announce the card for NEO's 3/2 Korakuen Hall show. The four will participate in the main event, which is Kyoko Inoue's return bout.

SUN News update by Irving - 25 Jan 2008
The situation of Chickfights SUN is a very interesting one indeed. With Shinjiro Ohtani assuming presidency of First On Stage, he has made it quite clear that he really doesn't have any intentions on moving forward with the company. Former FOS president, Yoshiyuki Nakamura has stated that he didn't intend on allowing his creation just die, and that he hasn't released control of SUN to Ohtani. Basically, Nakamura is trying to move forward with the company, while Ohtani doesn't see the need for it, and really doesn't even want the women working Z1-MAX shows. Both Nanae Takahashi (the company ace), and Natsuki*Taiyo (their young ace) are out sick, narrowing it down to Hikaru and Saki Maemura, who will have a series of singles bouts on upcoming Z1-MAX cards. The promotion hasn't run a show since around October or November, but there have been rumors flying that SUN may break away from FOS. The most controversial rumor swirling is that the girls may actually be apart of whatever Zenjo product that Chigusa Nagayo is trying to launch.. we'll keep an eye on this situation.

    Welcome! Results~! by Irving - 13 Jan 2008
Welcome to the "Joshi Queendom", which is of course dedicated to joshi puroresu. You all know my history covering joshi puroresu since around 2004 on various boards and opening up joshipuro.com in 2005. There have been many ups and downs in the scene, but with the influx of new talent looking to make names and carry the legacy forward, there is some hope, which is why I decided to move from joshipuro.com and bring it to more of a broader mass with the SSS Network. Onto results and cards which are below. It's the beginning of the year, so it's mostly quiet across the board except for in NEO, where Kyoko Inoue made a surprise appearance at their 10th Anniversary show on 1/6 in Korakuen Hall. Kyoko eliminated Mima Shimoda from the 10th Anniversary Battle Royal, and has been confirmed for an in-ring return on 3/2 at Korakuen Hall.
